And the winners are . . . check out the five talented kid cooks and their tasty recipes that won the first Pillsbury Kids' Bake-Off® Contest National Finals in June 2001.

For the first Kids' Bake-Off® National Finals Competition, 33 contestants ages 9 to 14 prepared their recipes for final judging by a panel of food experts. The contestants had earned a trip to the National Finals by winning a local Pillsbury Kids' Bake-Off® Contest sponsored by a grocery retailer in their area.

Kids' Bake-Off® Contest recipes are judged on taste, appearance, preparation and creativity. The kids prepare their favorite recipes, which contain at least one eligible Pillsbury® product.
